Michelle Watkins Obituary
Michelle was the twin sister to Patrick and 1 of 8 children. She attended St. Thomas Catholic School in Grand Rapids. Michelle was blessed with a son and daughter from her marriage to Neal. They lived in Texas before moving back to Michigan. She unfortunately lost her oldest son Eugene while he was serving in the military.
Michelle had a great sense of humor and loved to make everyone laugh with a silly joke or her unique giggle. She will be missed by her family, friends and her Grace Church family, who had been a huge support to her throughout the years. Michelle's spirit of generosity was expressed in the designer quilts she made and gave away. She also made beautiful Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls that she brought to children in the hospital.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Amber) Palmer of Texas. Siblings James Watikins of Virginia, Sharon Watkins of Virginia, Thomas (Kate) Watkins of North Carolina, Patrick Watkins of Grand Rapids and Gregory (Ainsley) Watkins of Florida. Several Nieces and Nephews that were all very dear to Aunt Michelle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Eugene, sisters, Pamela Watkins and Kathleen Lake. A celebration of Life will be at Grace Church 220 Bogie Lake Rd. White Lake, Michigan on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at Noon.
