Mickey Thompson Obituary
Born January 19,1963 in Denver, Co. He was welcomed by his Mother Marie Lopez Thompson and his father Jim Thompson, three sisters Marcy, Terry and Carla. Later his half-brother Ernie. He grew up in Co, Nv, and Az.
Mike came to Houston in the early 80's and loved it here. In 1983 he met his partner Rob Hagen, and they built a life together for almost 44 years.
He was a hairstylist over 40 years and improved the look of Texas and Louisiana one head at a time. His many friends were drawn to him by his personality, sense of humor and caring nature.
He passed peacefully from this world on 21 July 2025 after fighting a devastating lung disease.
He was survived by his partner, Rob (Tomball, Tx), his Mom, Marie (Casper Wy), two sisters Carla (Casper Wy) and Terry (Searcy, Ar), brother Ernie (Ogden, Ut), other family members, Gwen, Joey, Angie, Sean, Chloe, Beau Paige, and Sidney all (in Houston).
He was loved by so many and will be missed by all.

I´m so sorry for your loss. Mike was the most wonderful friend who will be deeply loved and missed forever. I still can´t believe that he´s gone. RIP Mike.
