Miguel A. Galloza

Galloza, Miguel A. age 64 of Dover, NJ passed away Wednesday September 10, 2025 at the Saint Clare's Hospital Denville Campus following a long illness. Born in Aguada, Puerto Rico, Miguel has resided in Dover, NJ most of his life.

Son of the late Ezequiel and Carmen (nee Gonzalez) Galloza, Miguel had earned his master's degree in Theology from Seton Hall University. A loving and devoted family man, he enjoyed studying philosophy as well as the history of the church, and he was a devout parishioner of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Dover, NJ.

With an ear for music, he especially enjoyed old Latin music and singing to his son. An outdoorsman at heart, Miguel enjoyed spending time in Puerto Rico. He would spend his time there praying to God and admiring his creation among the animals and plants he loved and cared for, with the dream of leaving a house there for his son. He also enjoyed collecting various items, especially religious relics and other memorabilia, souvenirs, and coins among other things which he would save. Miguel loved spending time with his family as well, and constantly made sure that his son remained diligent in his education as he was just starting his journey at Boston College.

Mr. Galloza was predeceased by a sister as well as his godson, Joshua Rivas. Survivors include his beloved son Gabriel Galloza-Vargas, his thirteen siblings, his many nieces and nephews, as well as his many extended family members and friends.
