He is proceeded in death by Father Jess Alvarado. He is survived by his mother Eva Betancourt. His lovely wife, Carmen Alvarado, his oldest daughter, Maranda Lopez, and husband Anthony, Aiyana and Aubree; his sons Mike Jr. and wife Brianna, Jacob Salazar and his wife Amber, Issac, and Gabriel Jr..
He also is survived by his brother Renée Betancourt and wife Sophia, Jess Alvarado and wife Nancy, sisters, Lupe Betancourt and husband Jesus, Amanda Ruddy, Sandra Ortega and husband Gilbert. As well as his four grandchildren Gabriel Jr., Catalina, Jameson and Kash.
Mike was very outgoing person. He made friends everywhere and found joy and cooking dancing family night singing and watching his Raiders play. His specialty in the kitchen was his unforgettable ribs and rice above all Mike was all about his family. He loved, cherished and embraced his beloved family they were his heart and soul. Mike's favorite color was orange. It reflected his vibrant and joyful spirit. He will be deeply missed by his wife, kids, grandsons, and all his family and friends.
