My deepest sympathies to Mikes entire family. I worked with Mike in Fargo and I knew then he would be an amazing teacher and dad some day! He loved all the kids he worked with! Great man, co-worker and friend to everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mr Halldorson, There aren't enough words to say to thank you for how you changed my life and all the lives of students after me. You weren't only my teacher years ago but my friend. Your classroom was a safe place for me to study and escape the daily pressures. You gave me advice and made sure I succeeded in college. We all will miss you. Such a beautiful and focused soul. Our talks were normally less than 5 minutes but they were good. Hes already missed greatly.

Mr halldorson loved by all that knew him students coworkers etc. I remember we used to stand in the hallway during the passing periods and talk aboutthe games from the week before or games coming up we talked about everything from medical conditions to sports R.I.P. You will be missed ol friend

Mr. Halldorson taught more than just Chemistry. He also taught strength, patience, and passion. When the worst days came he was the man to talk to. It takes an amazing person to get through to teenagers and he was always beyond phenomenal. He was one of a kind and will always be missed.

Mike, thanks for sharing your sweet family with us. Thanks for being such a great neighbor. Thanks for letting my kids run in and out of your house. Thanks for teaching us perseverance and strength. We love the Halldorsons. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We WILL see you again.

I didn't know him well, but from what I observed, he was a kind, big-hearted man. He and Dezi were a beautiful picture of calm, steady strength, each relying on the other. I'll miss seeing them at school. Praying for the family, that God's comfort and peace will engulf and sustain you in the days, months, and years to come.

Mike was a true warrior. He fought his health battles with dignity, strength, and even with humor. He was so proud of his family. We are so sad for your loss and our loss as well. In our heart and in our prayers.

Mr. Halldorson was the BEST teacher I ever had in my life. I was the new kid at Permian, and my dad was very sick with cancer and Mr. Halldorson was always there for me. He was such a good teacher and a great person. My prayers are with his family

Mr. Halldorson was an amazing teacher. He made me love Chemistry. When my health declined while I was getting my B.S. in Chemistry, I would think about how Mr. H persevered despite his epilepsy. He truly was an inspiration to me and had a direct impact on my life that I will always cherish. I will never forget his classes. He will be dearly missed.
