Mike Rakestraw Obituary
Mr. Rakestraw was born July 21, 1940 to Mr. Amos Clinton Rakestraw and Mrs. Louise Elizabeth Roper Rakestraw. He was married to Mrs. Carol Bone Rakestraw for 54 years. He owned an operated Mike's Super Package in Hiram for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to many.
He was preceded in death by: Wife, Mrs. Carol Rakestraw; Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Clinton (Louise Elizabeth Roper) Rakestraw; Brothers, Mr. Tyre Rakestraw, Mr. Bobby Rakestraw, Mr. Danny Rakestraw, Mr. Benny Rakestraw, Mr. Junior Rakestraw and Mr. Ansel Rakestraw.
He is survived by: Son, Mr. Von Rakestraw (Jennifer); Son, Mr. Charles Lance Rakestraw; Grandchildren, Lakin Rakestraw, Ladd Rakestraw, Caroline Rakestraw, Cierra Rakestraw, Lana Purvis (Taylor) and Lexie Lovett (Gabe), John Cohran and Justin Cohran; Great Grandchildren, Parker Purvis, Kalsyn Lovett and Kove Lovett; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Dallas Memory Gardens on Monday, December 29, 2025, 1:00 P.M. Rev. Don Rackley will officiate.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 28, 2025, 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
