Mike loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping, going to Disney World, and spending time with his family, including his dog, Darby.
Mike had an infectious sense of humor and a selfless dedication to the people he loved. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda S. Smith, his aunt, Joanee Smith Kazmier, his grandparents, Bill and Jaunita Smith, Louise Heard and Paul Smith, Sr., step-grandfather, Jack Heard and a nephew, Matthew Ferry.
Mike is survived by Suzanne, his loving wife of 28 years; his father, Paul Smith; his cousin, Pam (Steve) Boaz; sister-in-law, June Ferry and a brother-in-law, Mike (Anita) Ferry.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home.
