Millie Asplund (Vidlund), age 90, of Fridley passed away on July 15, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. She is preceded in death by parents, Julia and Linder Vidlund, her beloved Husband Harry, and her brother, Richard Vidlund.
She is survived by her children, Joan (Ray) Dolin, Tom (Mary), Jerry, and Jan (Greg) Raph, her 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Millie was born July 14, 1934, in Northeast Minneapolis, becoming the youngest member of the Vidlund family. After getting married she moved to Fridley and raised her lovely family. Millie liked to play bingo and taking trips to the casino with her friends. She enjoyed watching the sports her kids played. She will be remembered for loving John Wayne movies, pull-tabs, and NCIS/Dr. Ducky. She was a longtime member of St. Williams Church.
The family of Millie invites you to join them for the memorial gathering at Miller Funeral Home on Monday July 22, 2024, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, located at 6210 Highway 65 Northeast, Minnesota 55432.
The family will lay Millie to rest, privately, at a later date.
