Trustee Mildred Beck was truly one of a kind - she was very compassionate regarding others feelings and generous in helping wherever and whenever she could. When I think of her and all she did for MBBC, I think of the song by Kenny Rogers, You Decorated My Life. Because of her spirit, her kindness and artistic talent, she could change ugly areas, plain walls and make them look 3-D beautiful. In my opinion, it takes a person with beauty inside who can bring it out in the worst of situations, and make all things beautiful. Trustee Beck will be missed,

For many years we worked on the culinary committee at church. Prior to this Mildred Beck served as a judge for the Science Fair I sponsored at Nativity School where I taught. We had already forged a friendship at church. She was a beautiful person and a faithful friend.
