Mildred Faylene (Thompson) was born August 16, 1934, the daughter of Thomas and Vera Thompson. She married Dean Belfield on August 18, 1951. She and Dean lived and worked in Columbia, MO for most of their married life.
Surviving are three nieces, seven nephews, numerous great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews; good friend, Jim Levett.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dean Belfield; her parents; brothers: James and Dean Thompson; sisters; Loretta Shoemaker and Wanda Webster; one niece and one great niece.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2025 at the New Cambria Cemetery in New Cambria, MO, with Bro. Jake Levett officiating. The family suggests memorials to the Animal Shelter of Linn County. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO.
