Mildred Brinly Obituary
She was a member of Middletown United Methodist Church and a loving mother, grand mother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Hardy L. Brinly; brother, Jim Issacs and sister, Nancy Proper.
She is survived by her children, Jack Brinly (Joyce), of Friendswood, TX, Bob Brinly (Ann), of Moses Lake, WA, Rick Brinly (Ruth), of Shanghai China, Joyce Brooks, of Jacksonville AL and Kathy Deaves (Neal), of Crestwood, KY; brother, William Raymond Issacs, of Charlottesville, VA; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two stepgreat grandchildren; and five stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Middletown United Methodist Church with burial in Resthaven Cemetery to follow. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday May 3, 2012 at Pearson Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Middletown United Methodist Church Building Fund, in lieu of flowers.

Rick and all the Brinly family,
My prayers are with you in the loss of your mom. Growing up next door to you guys, I spent a lot of time with your family. Your mom kept Rick and I entertained many times, playing tennis, going to the pool and many other things. Your mom was a special lady. I pray that God will give all of you comfort at this time.
