Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services - AnnandaleMildred "Millie" Fredrick, age 92, of Watkins, formerly of Kimball, died Monday, February 16, 2026, at Hilltop Health Care Center in Watkins.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Todd Nelsen will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Buffalo.
Mildred Jane Maurer was born on October 30, 1933, in Fairhaven Township, Stearns County to Rhinehardt and Ethel (Driver) Maurer. Millie married Norman Weber, and together they had 5 children. They later divorced. While the kids were young, Millie was a homemaker. Her unwavering dedication to family extended beyond her own, as she opened her heart and home to many children through foster care over the years.
She married Ralph Fredrick on December 26, 1975, in Racine, Wisconsin. They made their home in the Kimball area. Millie worked as a PCA, providing compassionate care to countless individuals in various facilities. She also worked for Carlson Company.
Millie was a passionate lover of dogs, particularly her toy poodles, whom she bred with great care. She cherished moments hunting, camping, gardening, baking banana bread, taking trips to the casino with her sisters, and traveling through the mountains, creating unforgettable memories.
She is survived by her three sons, Charles (LaRae) Weber of Casper, WY, Chad (Patty) Weber of St. Cloud, and Cal (Marion) Weber of Fairhaven; daughter-in-law, Rita Mitchell of South Haven; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Sandy Hollencamp, Barbara Dombeck, Steven (Mary) Fredrick, Amy (Jeremy) Oglsby, and Debra (Tom) Atkinson; siblings, Rudy (Marion) Maurer of South Haven, George (Pat) Maurer of South Haven, Eva Alama of French Lake, Laura (Tom) Wittrock of South Haven, and Jerry Maurer of South Haven. Millie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Carl; daughter, Cindy (Kenny) Opsahl; husband, Ralph; and siblings, Floyd "Mike" Maurer, Helen Zeis, Gladys Marschel, and Bertha Miller.
Nathan, Adam, Chris, Calvin, and Chuck, Jr. Weber, and Leslie Rosa will serve as casket bearers. Crystal Barnes, Dustin, Tim, and Jeff Weber will serve as honorary casket bearers. Arrangements entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Annandale.
