She will await the resurrection in Saint Edward Roman Catholic Church Cemetery (Dale Street) in New Iberia, LA.
The visitation will be held at Saint Edward Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, January 31, 2026, beginning at 8 :00 A.M. until 9:45 A.M. A rosary to recited at 9:00 A.M.
Mrs. Mildred Anthony Frelot was a resident of New Iberia, LA. She departed this life on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 8:15 P.M. at New Iberia Manor North in New Iberia, LA.
Mildred a devout Catholic and lived her faith throughout her life. She was a member of Saint Edward Roman Catholic Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Marisca Marsha Simon (Edward), Jessica Hypolite of New Iberia, LA, and Yolanda F. Lampkin (Kevin) of Hauhpon, LA; two brothers, John Michael Anthony (Rose) of LaPlace, LA and Nicholas Anthony of Coteau, LA; two sisters, Linda Gaddison (Alvin) of New Iberia, LA and Eve Becky Anthony (Tony) of Lafayette, LA; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Whitney Harry Anthony and Eldora Sanders Anthony; two sisters, Betty Anthony Charles and Mary Lillian Jacquet; one great-grandchild, Jade Myangel Simon.
Active Pallbearers will be members Kordell Simon, Jamal Simon, Sr., Edward Simon, Jr., Kenneth Anthony, Jermaine Anthony, and Larry Walker, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the immediate family.
