Mildred Hartwell Obituary
Preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Lillian Hester, husband OB Hartwell, granddaughter Jami Wright, four brothers and two sisters. Mavis is survived by her daughters Pat (Craig Byrne) and Angie Kennington, and her son Larry Hartwell, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Mavis was known and loved for her kind demeanor, astute wisdom, gentle counsel, subtle wit and good humor. Her pride and delight were any time she was able to spend with her son, daughters, and their families. Her enjoyment of spending time outdoors while admiring the nature that God put on this earth.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 6 at 12:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S. WVC, UT, and will be officiated by Pastor Ray Smith. A viewing will be held on Monday, December 5 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Tuesday.

She was my last living grandparent. She introduced me to the Valley Assembly of God Church in Kearns and I enjoyed going for many years.
My grandma was a real one. She loved as Christ loved. She talked the talk and walked the walk. She loved her family without a doubt, and we knew we could call on her for anything.
I will miss her all the time and will think of her often. I imagine her now in her heaven, working peacefully in god´s garden.
She will live on in my heart forever. I will tell my kids about her. I will miss her so much.
