I met Millie at St. Mary's Kutztown and we were cooking for the Bazaar. My earliest record of Millie is 1996. We made soup, halupies, BBQ and pierogies. People she worked with Gertrude DeVore, Stas Smith, Helen Tobias, Ethel Meeks, Mary Ruppert and others. They are all cooking in heaven now. Millie was a hoot. She always had great stories. Like she said she was a member of HGA and don't tell them she's cooking with us. Its been a while since I've talked to Martin and Millie. They were always charming. I will keep her in my prayers. If you have any prayer cards from her funeral , I would love one. I do miss Millie.
