With a heart full of sorrow, I remember her gentle spirit and the indelible mark she left on mine. Her warm, rich voice echoed God's love, inspiring me to embrace my own unique sound. Mama Mildred was such a kind and sweet spirit that was loved by everyone. She always greeted you with a smile and a hug no matter what. Her love for the Lord was a testimony to how she lived her life. I know right now she is up in heaven dancing and singing with God. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. No more pain. You will forever be in our hearts.
