Mildred Robinette Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel - Anderson on Jan. 10, 2026.
Mildred "Millie" Robinette, age 95, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, in Redding, California.

Millie was born June 27, 1930. She was married to her husband Wayne Robinette in 1950. They had two children together, Steven Robbinette, and Sheri Kerr. Millie and Wayne made their way to Anderson, California on 1956. Millie built a life centered around love, creativity, and family. She was known by all who met heras a caring and loving women with a generous heart and a welcoming smile - paired with a stubborn streak that meant ounce her mind was made up, there was no changing it.

Millie spent most of her working years at a paper plant in Red Bluff, CA, where her strong work ethic and determination were evident. Outside of work, her true joy was creating and caring for others. She was incredibly crafty and talented, finding happiness in woodworking, painting, sewing, crocheting, baking, and gardening. There was very little she couldn't make with her hands or grow in her garden, and many creations- both handmade and home-baked - became cherished gifts for family and friends.

Millie had a deep sense of responsibility for those around her. If someone needed help, she made sure they had it - Often quietly and without expecting recognition. Her stubborn determination was matched only by her compassion, and she never hesitated to step in when someone was in need.

Above all, Millie loved her friends, and her family and cherished every moment spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Wayne Robbinette, her son Steve, and mother Stella.

A Graveside service will be held at Anderson Cemetery on January 30, 2026 at 12:00 noon, followed by a celebration of life at a location to be announced.

Milli will be remembered for her kind heart, stubborn strength, and creative talents, and her unwavering commitment to taking care of those she loved.
