Mildred Rousse Obituary
Mildred “Millie” Chiasson Rousse, 99, a native of Lockport, La. and resident of Larose, La. passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025 with her loving family near her side.
Visitation will be at Community Bible Church on June 20, 2025 from 9:00am until service time. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 12:00pm with burial at Cheramie Cemetery.
Mildred is survived by her children, Minor M. J. (Susan) Cheramie, Jody (Lisa) Rousse, Jackie (Al) Bruce, and Evelyn Rousse McKittrick; grandchildren, Lacey Cheramie France (Chad), Tony Cheramie (Jamie), Robbie Bruce (Toni), Ross Bruce (Tracy), Leslie Rousse Terrebonne (Travis), Jordy Rousse (Megan) and Joshua Rousse (Nikki); great-grandchildren, Whitney, Lauren, Zack, Connor, Cullen, Carson, Caroline, Averi, Jake, Milli, Dustin, Seth, Alyssa, Sebastian, Sloane, Ryleigh, Lane, Cadence, Harper, Coda, Jayonni, Parker and Porter; great-great-grandchildren, Weston, and Kaison; and brother, Eugene Chiasson.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Laurent “Vincent” Rousse; companion, Roy Adams; parents, Arthur P. and Nora Barbier Chiasson; son, Kim Rousse; brothers, P.J. Chiasson, Arnold Chiasson, Raynold Chiasson, and A.J. Chiasson; and sister, Mary Jane Chiasson.
