Mildred F. "Suzie" Seckler

Mildred F. "Suzie" Seckler, 83, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 10:02 pm on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Carle Health-Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL.
She was born on September 22, 1940, in Peoria, IL, to Francis and Mary Mildred (Colvin) Adams. She married Dennis E. "Denny" Seckler on June 22, 1963 in Washington, IL. He passed away on September 11, 2021.
Surviving are her son, Dennis L. Seckler of Prophetstown, IL; grandchildren, Emily (Cameron) Casconi of St. Louis, MO and Anna M. Seckler of Peoria, IL; nieces, Daphne Clarkson of Goodfield, IL and Jessica Wixson of Nashville, TN; three great-nephews; and two great-nieces. She was preceded by her brother Harvey Adams and sister Margie Adams.
Suzie was a member of Pattonsburg Christian Church in Pattonsburg, IL. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening, hummingbirds, game shows, and being around her family.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Pastor Tim Barber officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to her service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bell Plain Cemetery in Pattonsburg, IL.
