Dear Al, Tom, Pete and Family, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was such a special person. When we were children growing up in Bena, she made all our "trips down river" to your house an adventure. She led a full and loving life. My prayers go out to all of you.
God Bless you,

TO THE SHEPHERD FAMILY:
Your mother is at rest and in a better place. When I would drive her wheelchair it was fun and games. She would tell me that, You know how to drive this chair. We will soon see her on the other side with out the wheelchair and happy.

Mrs. Shepard was my 4th grade teacher at Achilles Elementary (1979). She was a great and special teacher. She was such a sweet person. I remember her just like yesterday. She also taught my Sister who is 10 years older than me. My condolences to the family and God Bless.
