Mildred M. Wesley, age 100 of Canton passed away on January 11, 2025. Mildred was born in Queens, New York on January 12, 1924 to her parents, the late Georgina (née Pears) and Charles Stanley Allen.
She is the beloved and devoted wife of the late Edward Wesley; loving mother of six children – Sharon Kelley, Maureen (Mike) Kisabeth, Priscilla (Gerald) Piwowar, Georgan (Harold) Matthews, and Penny (Ernie) Honke. She is the proud grandmother of Kristine (Mark) Randall, Sean (Allison) Kelley, Deborah (Dave) Evans, Karen Kisabeth, Corrie (Jason) Janeski, Kelli Kisabeth, Kyleen (Matt) Weisman, Todd (Kristin) Piwowar, Nathan (Lindsay) Piwowar, Robert Piwowar, Megan Piwowar, Jennifer Matthews, Steven Matthews, Bethany (Daniel) Johnson, Christopher (Kate) Matthews, Brandon (Nicole) Honke, Shannon (Jeff) Inman, Lauren Honke, Matthew Wesley and great-grandmother of 28 great-grandchildren.
She is pre-deceased by her son Brian Wesley and grandson Ryan Honke.
Mildred was a longtime member of the choir at Our Lady of Good Counsel and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Plymouth Knights of Columbus.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. There will be a Rosary service at 6:30 P.M.
Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until the start of the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road, Plymouth beginning at 10:30 A.M.
Mildred will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
Those who wish to honor the memory of Mildred M. Wesley are invited to consider a contribution to St. Mary Catholic Church, 300 Old Highway 2, Odanah, Wisconsin 54861.
Contribution envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home and the Church.
