Miles Barry Darnall

Miles Barry Darnall, 70, of Renton, Washington, passed away on August 13, 2025, in Dade City, Florida.
Mr. Darnall served with the Saint Leo Police Department for seven years before joining the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, where he dedicated 25 years of service. He earned the respect of colleagues and the community alike, and was known for his generous spirit and his deep love for baseball, softball, football and community service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Jean Darnall of Dade City; daughter Jennifer (Ken) Darnall-Graham of Summer Shade, Kentucky; son Miles Christopher (Amy) Darnall of Dade City, Florida; sister Keri (Duff) Hicks of Spanaway, Washington; grandchildren Kenneth Edward, Kevin Ely, and Keith Edward Graham of Summer Shade, Kentucky; and Miles Declan, Owen Christopher, and Rose Annette Darnall of Dade City, Florida; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Miles and Daisy Darnall, and his brother, David Darnall.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 US Hwy 301, Dade City, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Pasco Baseball or the Deputy Conor Schmelter Memorial Scholarship through the PHSC Foundation.
