Milfred Frederick Sr. Obituary
Kaplan - A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Stephen S. Irudayasamy will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 10, 2025, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Milfred Frederick Sr., 94, who passed away on November 7, 2025, at The Carpenter House of St Joseph Hospice. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM. The visitation will continue Monday, November 10, 2025, from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 11:00 AM.
He is survived by one daughter, Kathy (Mike) Schexnyder of Kaplan, La; one son, Milfred (Tessa) Frederick Jr. of Benton, La; five grandchildren, Blake Frederick, Cade Frederick, Ashtyn Frederick, Kayla Schexnyder, and Jude Schexnyder; one great-grandson, Lachlan Schexnyder; two brothers, A.J. Frederick of Kaplan, La and Glen Frederick of Bossier City, La.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Asa Frederick and the former Una Hebert; one sister, Earline Hebert; two brothers, Unis "Coon" Frederick and Ray Frederick; and one nephew, Russell Frederick.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan (337) 643-7276.
