Milton Glenn Crowe, born September 4, 1948, in
McHenry, Kentucky, passed away on January 23, 2026, surrounded by his family, entering into eternal rest and the loving presence of the Lord.
Milton was a proud United States Marine, a role that reflected his lifelong commitment to service, discipline, and honor. Following his military service, he worked for Peabody Coal and Pool Oilwell Services, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependability.
In the early 1980s, Milton began working in the construction industry, where he discovered a trade that would shape the rest of his working life. Through dedication, perseverance, and a genuine love for learning, he later became a business owner, founding Range Drywall and Stucco, which he faithfully operated until his passing. Milton took great pride in his work and found joy not only in building, but in teaching and mentoring others in the trade. He was always willing to share his knowledge, helping those around him grow in skill and confidence. For more than 25 years, his clients and fellow contractors valued and respected him, and many were grateful for the opportunity to work alongside him. Through his business, he provided for his family and served his community with integrity, honesty, and pride.
Milton was married to his beloved wife, Linda M. Crowe, on December 22, 1974, and they shared 51 years of marriage. Their union was a blessing and a testament to love, faithfulness, and God's grace through all seasons of life.
He is survived by his cherished daughter, Karen Crowe; his son-in-law, Adebayo Alarape; and his treasured grandsons, Adekunle and Adedokun, who were a constant source of joy and pride. He is also survived by children from a previous marriage, as well as stepchildren who blessed his life with grandchildren he loved dearly.
Milton will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was known for his steady presence, strong values, and simple joys-especially his love for Elvis Presley's music, which brought him happiness throughout his life. His life reflected perseverance, humility, and faith.
Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in God's promise:
"Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord." - Matthew 25:23
His legacy of love, hard work, faith, mentorship, and the music he enjoyed will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Per his wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
