Milton Friedman, you will be missed. The nation's flailing around can certainly use your insight and guiding hand given the current situation.

Milton Friedman was a giant of liberty, he will be sorely missed. His "Free to Choose" was a life changing book for me. I have given it to many people.

Professor Friedman reshaped a generation's views on how the economy worked and the power of free choice. I am one of those he enlightened to the true source of wealth, economic liberty. He will be missed. Peace and comfort to his family and many friends

Mr. Freidman was an inspiration to me in Graduate school and literally changed my career plans to allow me to go into the teaching of economics. Over 25 years I have taught the monetary policy theories of Mr Freidman to thousands of students. He made "common sense made difficult" easy to understand! Michael Davis

Professor Friedman was the last in a line of giants. Smith, Malthus, Ricardo, Mises, Hayek, Friedman -- they changed the world.

Milton will be missed by free people and those that hope to be free all around the world. His legacy will extend for many centuries to come. He is now one for the ages with Ayn Rand.

Thank you Mr. Friedman for giving governments a better understanding of money.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Mr Friedman will be sorely missed, but we need to continue on his crusade of true freedom. I think he truely understood what our forefathers of this contry were really yearning for, God granted freedom to work, provide and worship without "big-brother" govt. over our shoulders. We'll continue on Mr. Friedman!

Dear Rose and others who mourn the passing of this great man, Capitalism and Freedom, required reading in my HS, still transforms many. What I've heard of his great friendships inspires. We'll carry on his fight for choice in education and freedom in everything.

Milton was one of the most brilliant minds in modern history. It is a shame a genius like him cound not live forever. His wisdom will be missed.

I always hoped the Good Lord would give Friedman special dispensation to hang around forever. Alas, a true giant has fallen, and we shall never see his likes again.

Milton Friedman was a great man in many ways. He could think clearly and then express those thoughts with clarity. I wish he could have stayed with us forever.

It is a great loss to lose a think tank and pundit of modern monetary economics of the world. May god rest his soul in piece!

I remember the first time I heard him spoke on CSPAN, his ideas were so powerful and intrinctly true that it's like hearing Darwin talked about evolution. I will surely miss him.

Milton Friedman's writings were a very positive influence in the life of my daughter,Jan, in her high school years as she crystalized her ideas on economics & individual freedom. He will be remembered by many for his influence.

A voice speaking for freedom, Mr. Friedman will be sorely missed. My hope is that more people will take up the torch and the cause of freedom of thought, speech, and action balanced with social responsibility. My thanks to PBS for televising his shows.

Miton Friedman was theforemost economist of the 20th Century. He was a couragous, proud and extraordinary citizen. He contributed much to this country and theworld and his was a life well lived

I admire Milton Friedman most for his thoughts on the economic benefits of individualism. While his passing is a loss for all people of the world who believe in freedom of individuality and community betterment through free will and charity, the light of his torch will shine on.

Professor Friedman understood the nature of money and its role in the economy. A great scholar with the ability to communicate.

What a giant in the field of economics! "Free to Chose" was like a breath of fresh air. It gave a plan that was doable. He will be missed.

Professor Friedman had a big impact on my graduate studies at UCLA in the 70's. A great human being whose ideas will still influence future generations.

When I was young and still searching for answers I was given a copy of "Free To Choose" by my dad. That book changed my life forever. I consider Milton Friedman one of the greatest minds of the 20th century. Rest in Peace dear man.

My Economics and History instructor in high school commented all the time regarding Mr Friedman and supported his economics. I guess today, I have the Republican thought process of Mr Friedmans and how his Nobel Prize caused a stir in economics classes across the world.

You will always be remembered; especially by youth for whom your values have most impact. This impact ensues that we as a society do not accept and settle for a tranquil journey in the pursuit of human spirit.
