Milton Varnadore, passed away at his home on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on June 14, 1955, in Bacon County, to Clifford M. and Vera Tanner Varnadore and was reared in Ware County.
Milton dedicated many years of his life working for Goodyear Tire in Douglas, where he built lasting relationships and earned the respect of his colleagues. In pursuit of new opportunities, he moved to Reidsville and opened Village Pizza, an endeavor that brought joy and nourishment to countless local residents. Milton took great pride in his work, often expressing his love and appreciation for his employees, who became like family to him. He continued to own and operate Village Pizza until 2024, where his legacy of kindness and service thrived.
Outside of work, Milton enjoyed a variety of hobbies that enriched his life and the lives of those he loved. He had a deep passion for the great outdoors, often spending his time hunting and fishing. His love for animals was evident in the way he cared for his dogs, and he particularly treasured moments spent with his grandchildren, relishing every opportunity to create lasting memories with them.
Milton's personality shone brightly in all interactions; he was always there when you needed him and made it a point to express his feelings, often saying "I love you" to friends and family alike. His loving and humble nature touched many hearts, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the fortune to know him.
He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Ware County and was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Purvis Varnadore, Jeanette Taylor and Lavonne Vaughn.
He is survived by his best friend and loving companion, Jackie Cobb of Reidsville; the mother of his children, Nova Varnadore of Vidalia; his sons and daughter in law, Derick Varnadore of Vidalia, Blake and Candice Varnadore of Reidsville; siblings, Linda Jean Jackson of Waycross and Stacy (Jo Ann) Varnadore of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Adain "Tripp", Jamie, Aubree, and Clay; several nieces and nephews.
