I've known Mimi for many decades and a finer lady could not be found. Her jubilant spirit and dedication to her friends and family was unmatched. I'll miss her smile and enormous wit. Farewell sweet lady!

It took me a little while to compose my thoughts about Mimi. First, I would like to extend my condolences and support to the Roeder family - both in name and business. Mimi always treated those closest to her like family.

Second, Mimi was, and still is, the most incredible mentor, friend, and person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I proudly call her a true friend.

From Mimi, I learned the world is truly yours, you just have to be strong, bold, and, willing to go get what you want in life!

As bold and upfront Mimi was, she had a heart of gold. I will miss our girl talks, lunches, and time together. You are dearly missed Mimi.

I first met Mimi around 55 years ago at the Pimlico hotel on a weekend night. I was in the ladies room and she came in crying and upset because she had just witnessed someone being stabbed. We talked and became fast friends. When I got married she arranged our honeymoon to Aruba from start to finish and it was a perfect one. Unfortunately we lost touch through the years, but I loved her as a sister! She was beautiful, smart, funny and fun to be with!

"In loving memory of Mimi Vaughan. Mimi became my Aunt when her mother married my grandfather. She was very supportive and kind to me during a very difficult time in my life and opened her home to my son Kenny and I multiple times. I will always remember her generosity and kindness to us. She welcomed us into her family whole heartedly and smiled when she introduced me as her niece to her friends. Mimi will be sorely missed. May the hearts and souls of her closest family and friends find peace and comfort."

Virginia, Kelly and Ryan,
Mary and I would like to express our deepest sympathies on the passing of your Mom. She was wildly successful and wildly interested in the success of others. From the time she became a family member with her marriage to my cousin Tommy she was a topic at all family gatherings. A life well lived.

I'm totally shocked by Mimi's passing but have wonderful feelings since I first met her over 50 years ago.I've never seen a more loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. I'll miss her warm smile, sparkling, eyes, and enjoyable conversations. I'll have special memories to last my lifetime. Rest in peace dear lady, you will never be forgotten.
