Mindy Ann Haake, 29, of Lake City, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. She was born in Pontiac, Illinois on May 3, 1996 and has made Lake City her home for over the last 20 years. Mindy was a devoted single mother of three children, whom she loved beyond measure. She was the ultimate "make –it-happen" mom – determined, to do whatever it took to give her kids the experiences she never had. Mindy's love and dedication extended far beyond her children. She was a steadfast source of support for her large family, including her parents, many siblings, nieces and nephews; all of whom she cherished so deeply. Outside of her family life, Mindy had a deep passion for holistic health and nutrition. She was equally enthusiastic about horticulture, photography, makeup artistry and fitness. She found joy in nature and the outdoors. She was fun-loving, energetic and full of life. Mindy was a very generous person, always looking for ways to help those around her. Mindy brought laughter, warmth and light to everyone who knew her.
