Mindy Monroe

Mindy Monroe, of Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed away on November 21, 2024.
She was the beloved mother of David (Cory) Monroe, Kyle Monroe, and Ryan Monroe. Mindy was the precious daughter of Barbi Melnick and the late Stuart Klein, and a cherished grandmother to Shane and Ethan Monroe. She is also survived by her loving and adoring brothers, Stephen (Linda) Klein and Howard (Elaine) Klein. Mindy was predeceased by her sister, Amy Laird.
Mindy's world centered around her grandsons. Ethan, 8 days old at the time of her passing, had the opportunity to meet his grandma on two occasions. In her own words, Shane was the "apple of her eye". She cherished their time together from reading, to arts and crafts, to holiday celebrations and Sunday dinners. The love shared between them was beautiful. Shane bought a light and a warmth to her life in a way nothing else could.
Mindy's warmth, love, and dedication to her family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and close friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, beginning at 1:30 PM at PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Inc., located at 2001 Berlin Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ, where funeral services will commence promptly at 2:00 PM.
Mindy's love of her fur babies was profound. They bought her endless joy and companionship. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in her memory to the Animal Welfare Association (AWA). 509 Centennial Boulevard, Voorhees, NJ 08043.
