Minerva Flores Riojas, was 92 years old and lived in Houston , Texas passed away on December 9,2023 and was surrounded by family at the time of her death. Minerva was born on April 8,1931 to Manuel & Beatrice Flores in Houston, Texas. She was raised in League City and Galveston. She married Patricios Riojas Jr later in life and moved to Point Comfort/Port Lavaca where they raised their children. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and working on puzzles. She attended many senior citizen facilities in Port Lavaca and Houston Texas. She was affiliated with Juncture Church in Pasadena Texas and attended Faith Springs Baptist Church in Pearland, Texas.
Minerva is preceded in death by her spouse Patricios Riojas Jr and her children Alex Sierra, David Pena, Ruben Pena, San Juana Perez, and Judy Riojas, she is survived by 6 of her 11 children: Gilbert (Cynthia) Pena, Mamie (Pedro) Lopez, Patricia (Randolph Deceased) Rendon, Minerva (Jesse) Cuellar, Patricios (Loveta) Riojas III, and Felix Edward Herrera. She is also survived by 3 siblings: Jimmy Flores, Edward Flores and Delores Gonzales. She had 38 grandchildren 81 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers: Patrick Pena, David Pena Jr, Jerry Perez Jr, Pedro F Lopez Jr, Randolph Rendon Jr, Patricios Riojas IV, Jason Perez, John Riojas Lara and Honorary Pallbearers are Alex Sierra Jr and Joshua Riojas.
