Danville, NH: Minerva "Webbie" Webster, 87, a resident of Danville since 2018, and a former longtime resident of Haverhill, MA, died peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at her home, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Howard and Agnes (Sullivan) Webster, she attended Local schools and was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1955. She later received her Bachelor's Degree from Lowell University and her Master's Degree in Psychology from Springfield University.
Webbie also known as "auntie" to relatives and friends was employed for many years as the Supervisor of Personnel at Western Electric Co., and AT&T Technologies in North Andover. Following her retirement, she worked as a teacher's aide at the Consentino School in Haverhill.
Webbie was a former member of the Western Electric Softball Team. She also played tennis as a young woman and competed regularly in the Winnekinni Castle Tennis Tournaments. More recently she was content being at home enjoying television and the company of her niece and family, with whom she lived.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by a sister, Nancy webster of Melbourne, Florida, a brother S. Carl Webster of Scarborough, Maine, a niece, Dena Bouzianis of Danville, nephews, William Bouzianis of Maine, and Ryan Ruddy of Danville, and a niece Jill Bloomstine and her husband Chadd of Merritt Island, FL, as well as the apples of her eye, grandnieces and grandnephews, Austin Simonds, Craig Ruddy, Jessica Ruddy, Finley Bloomstine and Hunter Bloomstine. She was predeceased by her brother William S. Webster in 1961 and her nephew Craig Ruddy in 2002.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home of Plaistow, NH
