In Loving Memory of Mr. Wang Mingcheng

In Loving Memory of Mr. Wang Mingcheng

Eulogy

Dear relatives and friends, distinguished guests,

Today, with profound sorrow, we gather here to bid farewell to our beloved family member, Mr. Wang Mingcheng. Mr. Wang Mingcheng was born on November 12, 1956, in Tianjin, China, and passed away on December 10, 2025, in a foreign land—Silver Spring, Maryland, USA—at the age of 69.

His life was ordinary, yet full of strength. As a renovation craftsman, our father’s hands were hands that created beauty. Every brick laid, every piece of wood shaped, and every stroke of paint carried his dedication and perseverance. He never treated his work casually—every measurement was precise, every detail polished again and again. With his sweat, he built warm and loving homes for countless families. He often said that renovation is about helping people realize their dreams, and it allows no carelessness. This simple yet steadfast commitment was not only the foundation of his livelihood but also his most precious spiritual legacy to his family.

In daily life, he was the pillar of our family—a gentle and generous husband, and a father whose love was as steady as a mountain. He was not a man of many words but always expressed his care through actions. Perhaps he never spoke many emotional phrases, but the warm meals on the table, the appliances quietly fixed late at night, and the reassuring pat on the shoulder during moments of frustration were all expressions of his deepest love. With his hardworking hands, he held up the entire family, shielding us from life’s storms and giving us the very best he had.

He treated others with sincerity and was always willing to help. Whenever neighbors or friends were in need, he would lend a hand without hesitation. His kindness and warmth, like a gentle spring breeze, earned him many genuine friendships.

Now, he has quietly left us for another world. We understand that life and death are part of the natural cycle, yet the pain of separation still breaks our hearts. But we also know that our father has never truly gone far. His presence will remain in every carefully arranged corner of our homes; his teachings will be reflected in our words and actions; and his love will become starlight in the long nights ahead, illuminating our path forward.

Dad, you worked hard your entire life. Now, may you lay down all your burdens, rest peacefully, and find eternal peace in heaven.

Finally, on behalf of our whole family, I would like to express our sincerest gratitude to all relatives and friends who have come today to attend this memorial service and bid farewell to our father.

 Thank you all.

Wang Lei
