Minnetta Joan Scheetz

Joan Scheetz age 86, of Killbuck, passed away February 28, 2023, at Majora Lane Care Center following a period of declining health.
Private family services were held at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, and interment followed at Blissfield Cemetery with Rev. Cliff Beck officiating.

Joan was born June 7, 1936, in Coshocton, Ohio and was the daughter of Fred and Beatrice (Miller) Aronhalt. She married Harold Scheetz on October 28, 1956, and he preceded her in death in 1985.
She was an active member of the Killbuck United Methodist Church, her passion was children's ministries, directing Vacation Bible School and presenting children's sermons. Joan was an avid bowler and she loved to bake. After raising her children Joan worked in admissions at Pomerene Hospital.
Joan is survived by a stepdaughter Martha Hood, daughter LaWanda (Dick) Miller, daughter Pam (Dennis) Gardner, son H. Wayne Scheetz, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Randolph, granddaughter Jennifer Scheetz, great granddaughters Courtney Scheetz and Porscha Miller, and brothers Dale and Roy.
