George, Charles, Mary Kay and Jeanne,
When Mary Kay called me Monday night, it was a sweet, sad moment in my life. I am so sorry that I was unable to attend your mother's funeral. You all are a second family to the Hamakers and have always been true friends to us all. The world has lost one of its shiniest star who was an example of what Christ would have us be...loving, cheerful and kind. My family are all praying for you through this time of grief. It is the ones left behind who truly suffer as Minnie is with the Lord. THe Hamaker clan loves you all.

Mr. Reynolds,Mary Kay, Charles, and Jean Ann,

I have so many memories of Mrs. Reynolds while you were at Sedalia. She always made me feel right at home. She had a gift of making people feel special and welcome in her home and I was there a lot. I remember the old black car that you used to have and the station wagon as well. My fondest memory of her is the day that she took Jean and me to meet Anastasia who lived in the Charlottesville area.
She was always so full of energy and really enjoyed life.
I know that you will all miss her greatly. My family is praying for you and send their sympathy as well.

George, I want to say thank you for the friendship we have shared with you and Minnie. You were a true blessing to Percy while he was living and to all our family. May God richly bless you in the days ahead as you grieve the lost of your soul-mate.

So sorry for your loss. We know George and Minnie by living just around the corner from them for 14 years. We recently just moved but we remember the long walks and fresh vegetables they would give us every summer. Minnie's new goal is to walk as an angel. She will be missed greatly. My heart tells me to write about my Minnie,
But how will I know where to start?
She was the Matriarch of a loving family.
I will only find the words here in my heart.

She has left behind one who loved her,
Most of the years of her wonderful life.
When they raised a family together,
By her love she was more than just a wife.

She supported him as he answered a calling,
He was to be a man of God for his fellow man.
How can you number the lives they touched?
For that God alone is the only one who can.

Today she walks golden streets with Jesus,
And never again will know sorrow or pain.
There could be no better place for her to be.
She has lived her whole life for this gain.

I do not grieve that she is gone from us,
But we will surely miss her loving smile.
Now that another light has left this world,
It will be alright if we are sad for a while.
