Minnie Tittle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Little & Davenport Funeral Home & Crematory on Dec. 30, 2025.
Minnie Marcelle (Hathcock) Tittle, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Gainesville, Georgia, on December 30, 2025. Born on March 25, 1940, in Boynton Beach, Florida, she was preceded in death by her parents Curtis Hathcock and Mary June Hathcock, and her beloved husband of 48 years, Jesse James Tittle.

Many knew her as Marcy until more recently she was known as Minnie. Minnie worked as a bookkeeper most of her life until she moved to Georgia 38 years ago. She then worked part-time in retail, but a majority of her time you would find her working in her flower gardens. She was known for her remarkable talents in crafting and gardening, passions she shared with many who were fortunate enough to know her. Whether she was tending to her garden or creating beautiful crafts, Minnie's creativity and attention to detail shone through in everything she did.

Minnie was a devoted mother to her son, Tony Tittle, and daughters Mary Stear, Marcia Weaver, and Ginger McDaniel. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Tittle. Minnie was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home, located at 355 Dawsonville Highway, SW, Gainesville, GA 30501 on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The family will have a celebration of life service later.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice of NGMC, whose support was invaluable during Minnie's final days. Donations can be made at https://www.nghs.com/foundation/hospice.

Minnie's memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
