Minnie Hazel Tynes was born on February 4, 1930, to parents, Henrietta Jackson and James Moss in Midland, Pennsylvania.
Minnie spent many years working at the United States Post Office main hub in Chicago, Illinois. Her commitment and diligence were evident throughout her career until she retired at the age of 55. Her work ethic and reliability left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside her.
A devoted Christian, Minnie lived her life with unwavering faith and spiritual anticipation for The Father's Return. Her beliefs were a guiding light throughout her life and a source of strength for those around her.
She was deeply loved by her family and was known for her giving spirit and selfless nature. Her kindness touched many lives, and she will be remembered for the warmth she brought into every room.
Minnie is survived by her children: Mark Tynes, Teresa Tynes, and Deborah Tynes; grandchildren: Terrance Huff, Lucretia Flemming, Deonte Tynes, Kandice Tynes, and April Tynes; as well as nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Tynes.
Minnie Hazel Tynes will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind and serve as a reminder of a life lived with grace and generosity.
