Minoo H. Patel

Minoo H. Patel, age 48 of ClearLake, Texas passed away on November 29, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Harish and Malini Patel and raised in Houston, Texas. Growing up, he was involved in many activities, including soccer, baseball, and other sports. Modifying muscle cars became a lifelong hobby he enjoyed. He was a huge fan of all sports, and in particular the Houston Astros and USC Trojans. He loved family reunions and looked forward to spending time with extended family. He was a practical joker with a generous heart of gold, never hesitating to help people. His antics were legendary and those who knew him had their own stories to tell.
Minoo was a success in the ways that mattered most. He was compassionate, humble, loving, and kind. His generosity and positive energy had a calming effect on everyone. He simply wanted to brighten lives and that he surely did. He was a bright spark in this world, who will be deeply missed by many.
We take comfort in knowing that Minoo is saved and now at peace surrounded by light in his eternal home. We are proud to have been able to call Minoo our son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, friend. He will truly be missed and will always be remembered in our hearts.
Minoo is survived by his parents, Harish and Malini Patel, sisters Shashi and Rita Patel, in addition to a host of loving cousins, uncles, aunts, their children, and the countless friends and lives who Minoo has blessed and touched throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his older brother and namesake, and his canine companions, Sandy and Shadow.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 10 a.m. at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77581. Cremation will follow the service.
