Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 am at Calvary Church of God in Christ 302 Jeffs Cir. Goose Creek, SC
There will be a viewing on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 5 pm-7 pm at Rivers Funeral Home 421 Redbank Rd. Goose Creek, SC.
Interment will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Dorchester Memory Gardens 11000 Dorchester Rd. Summerville, SC 29485.
Those precious memories of Miriam H Bright will resound in the life of her loving and devoted husband: Edward Bright Sr.; Her son: Edward Bright Jr. (Tiffany) of Summerville, SC, one sister: Emily H Johnson of North Charleston, SC, two brothers: William (Debra) Hamilton of North Charleston, SC and James (Melvena) Hamilton of North Charleston, SC, and four grandchildren: Kaelyn Bright , McKenia Wright , Donnell Elmore and Shonnell Taylor.
On behalf of this bereaved family, we humbly solicit all prayers of consolation and comfort as they transition through this difficult time.

My heart is heavy knowing that you're gone. I love you but God loved you more. I will aways Cherish the memories and the times we shared together through laughter and pain. It broke my heart, to lose you but you didn't go alone. A part of me went with you the day God took you home.

To the Bright family my condolences to you in loss of Miriam. I once went to school with her and also worked with her at the VA hospital for years. She was quiet and always wore a smile. To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. Death leaves a headache which no one can heal but love love leaves memories which no one can steal, cherish the memories. I pray your strength in the Lord as you mourn her passing from Earth to Glory. Heaven is a prepared place for prepared People.Trust in the Lord with all your heart lean not on your own understanding and he will direct your Path.
