I miss accompanying her performances on Channel 13 and at the Tulip Festival. She was a true professional.

I met Mimi in 1966 when hired as her accompaniast for her singing and dancing performance in the Albany Tulip Festival. I'll never forget it, as after hours of rehearsal for her number, "If My Friends Could See Me Now, I started off in the wrong key. But somehow we got through it. Later, her TV show, "Coffee Break" was on immediately after mine, a quiz show on which I was organist. Whenever she wanted to sing on her show I would stay and accompany her. Also I invited Jeff, then a seven-year old magician, to perform on my show. Jeff and Karen, please keep in touch.
