Missy Lynn (Henderson) Mueller, 41, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Light of the City Ministries, 2175 180th Street. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge.
Missy was born March 25, 1981, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Larry Henderson and Donita (Cram). She attended Fort Dodge Senior High and later earned her GED. Missy loved her job at the Apple Orchard. She enjoyed playing & spending time with her children. She loved her kids more than anything in the world. Missy also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, animals, watching the deer & hummingbirds, flowers, swimming, reading, dying her hair multi-colors, Baby Yoda, Halloween stuff, diamond art, coloring, watching TV (medical and vet shows), homemade mashed potatoes, hot coco with marshmallows, and a nice cold Mountain Dew. Missy was very proud of her achievement of being drug free for 10 years.
Missy is survived by 3 children: Xavier Elledge, Julyan Henderson and Dakoda Mueller – all of Fort Dodge; her mother: Donita Rykhus of Fort Dodge; 3 brothers: Roy (Sandy) Nielsen of Fort Dodge, Kevin (Danna) Henderson of Fort Dodge, and Colby Henderson of Fort Dodge. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; a brother: Danny Nielsen; and her grandmother: Joanna Sego.
