Terra Bella Misty Dawn Clark, 39, beloved wife and mother passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2023. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death. Misty will be forever remembered by her loving husband, Derrick, beautiful daughters, Frankie and Dally, mother Cheryl Jauch and father Jimmy Minyard, father, Fred Jauch, sister, Tina Bird and numerous family members and friends.

Misty was born on February 10, 1984 in Bakersfield, California. At a young age Misty discovered her love for animals, especially horses. Misty's love of horses led her down the path to barrel racing, a sport she truly shined in. Her love of animals led her to becoming an Animal Control Officer for a time. Misty felt most comfortable in jeans and boots but would throw on a fancy dress for special occasions.

In 2005 Misty married her soul mate, her ride or die, Derrick. An independent, strong, loving, funny and incredible woman met this amazing man that she would bring two beautiful daughters into this world with. As a mother she taught them to be strong, fearless, passionate and adventurous. You could see her love for family and friends in every moment you spent with her. You felt her love in every smile, smirk, hug or thoughtful word she spoke.

Misty worked a few different jobs in her life and followed in the footsteps of family members in the law enforcement field. She found her calling when she joined the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. She loved working for CDCR and excelled in her position. She will be missed by all her co-workers.

Misty's smile lit up a room. You could hear her cheering on family and friends during a race, rodeo or any special event. She was a Rodeo Queen, barrel racer, dedicated employee and a hard worker. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother and family member. Her impact on our lives runs deep. We are grateful to know you are watching over us all. Until we meet again.

Graveside service will be held on June 9, 2023, at 1pm, at North Kern Cemetery, 627 Austin St., Delano.
