Mitch Magness of Campbellsville, son of the late Herbert Magness and Ann Campanelli Magness, was born February 27, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri. He died at 7:56 P.M., Wednesday, October 8, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 77

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Calvary Temple Church.

He served his country honorably in the United States Navy for twenty three years having achieved the rank of Navy Seal and served in Vietnam and Desert Storm.

Mitch earned a Masters Degree and was a Physical Therapist.

He united in marriage to April Creekmore June 26, 2025.

Besides his wife, April Creekmore Magness, He is survived by three daughters and two sons: Tonia Magness of Denver, Colorado, Trina Magness and Husband, Vincent of Denver, Colorado, Morgan Reed Magness of New Jersey, Matthew Magness of Louisville, and Seth Creekmore of Pine Knot; one grandchild, Emerson Cord of Denver, Colorado; and many other relatives and friends.

Mitch was also preceded in death by one brother, Tom Magness.
