Mitchell Baker Obituary
Mitch was born March 1, 1958 to Larry Edward Baker and Mary Aldridge King in Charlotte, NC.
He was radically changed by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 27, 1981.
He married the love of his life, Beverly Wills Baker, on July 2, 1983.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Larry Baker; and his brother, Steve Baker.
Mitch now waits on the golden shores for his bride of 39 years, Beverly, and their three children, Audra (Lassiter), Sarah (Timmer), and Kaleb (Baker). He waits for his eight grandchildren, Tatum, Oliver, Elliott, Lorelei, Georgia, Maebrie, Noah, and Palmer. He is also survived by his mother, Mary King; his brothers, Chris Baker and Lewis Baker; and his three sisters, Kim Smith, Sharon Baker, and Casey Anderson.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 12:00pm Monday, April 24, 2023, at Abundant Life Church, 3321 Matthews Mint Hill Road, Matthews, NC, 28105. The family will receive friends from 11:00am – 12:00pm, one hour prior to the service in the Church Sanctuary.
In lieu of flowers, Mitch's family ask that you take your family out to dinner and make memories with them, as one of Mitch's favorite things to do was to take his family out to dinner.

Mitch was a gentle giant and such a talented carpenter for God´s work. He has been a huge help to my family over the years. We will certainly let miss his big smile but know that somehow that smile is even bigger in heaven. Much love to the family.
