Mitchell Dalton Hinton, 49 of Long Pond Rd., Pembroke, Kentucky died on Monday, March 16, 2009, at his residence. He was born Sunday, March 13, 1960 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the son of the late Lewis Dalton Hinton, Sr. and the late Neva Mae Brown Hinton. He was the husband of Rhonda Gayle Smith Hinton, who survives. He was employed by the Ky. Department of Revenue as an Auditor. He was a Member, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Music Director of Casky Baptist Church - Hopkinsville, Ky. He was also a Kentucky Colonel. Surviving are son, Brady Hinton of Pembroke, KY, daughter, Kelsey Hinton of Pembroke, KY, step-mother, Sherolyne Hinton, Lewisburg, KY, brother, L.D. Hinton, Jr. of Russellville, KY, sisters, Rita Coursey - (Lonnie) of Lewisburg, KY and Tammy Heltsley - (Rex) of Belton, KY. He was predeceased by sister, Pam Danks. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Casky Baptist Church located at 4090 Casky Ln. Hopkinsville, Kentucky 42240 with the Dr. Will Stone, Dr. J.E. Coker and Rev. Roger Skipworth officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, and again from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Casky Baptist Church, 4090 Casky Ln., Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
