Mitchell Inman

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mitchell K. Inman, beloved husband of Maggie Watson of Edmond, Oklahoma; cherished son of Jennifer Anderson Dvorak and Brian Dvorak, and Mark Inman and Rose Inman; and brother of Abby Abercrombie of Mannford, Oklahoma, and Christina Inman of Skiatook, Oklahoma. Mitch was surrounded by his devoted wife, loving family, beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends in his final days. Born on June 16, 1987, Mitch lived a life defined by kindness, creativity, and a deeply loving spirit. His passion for art was unmistakable, and he was extraordinarily talented, leaving behind pieces that reflect both his gift and his heart. He is survived by his parents; his brother-in-law, Hunter Abercrombie; his nephew, Cody Abercrombie; his stepbrothers, Levi Rodriguez and Nico Rodriguez; his aunts and uncles, Phil and Janet Campbell, Gary and Cindy Williams, Becky and Larry Effler, and Tommy and Barbara Anderson; and his cousins, Jaime Porter and Terrell Williams. Mitch loved deeply and wholeheartedly. He especially treasured his sweet pets over the years, caring for each with tenderness and devotion. In the days preceding his passing, Mitch remained positive and full of light, cherishing precious time with his beloved cousins Emily Kovalik, Jacob Campbell, Josh and Michelle Effler, and Jordan Effler. Mitch was caring and generous and took great pride in serving his community, fighting fires alongside his brother-in-law, Hunter Abercrombie, with the Mannford Fire Department. Through his service and warm spirit, he formed lifelong friendships, including dear friends John Elgin and Niva Elgin of Dayton, Ohio; Stephen Esau of Cleveland, Oklahoma; and Will Caine of Edmond, Oklahoma, all of whom remained close by in his final days. Mitch’s wit, infectious laughter, and boundless love will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched so profoundly. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, at Grandview Cemetery. A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. on February 28 at Partnership Christian Church.
