Mitchell Keith Kimbrell, 65, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Mr. Kimbrell was born on Thursday, March 24, 1960, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Jimmy Kimbrell and the late Shirley Pruitt Atchison.

Mitchell was a self-employed electrician whose skill and dedication earned him the respect of his customers and the community. Outside of work, his greatest joy was his family. He loved his daughter deeply and took immense pride in his grandsons, Chase and Ethan, who affectionately called him "PaPa Mitch."

A man of many interests, Mitchell had a deep appreciation for music-especially hard rock. He enjoyed fishing, where he found peace and relaxation, and was a true sports enthusiast. He was an avid fan of both the Tennessee Titans and the Tennessee Volunteers, faithfully cheering on his teams each season

A Celebration of Life Visitation for Mr. Kimbrell will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Brenda Kimbrell of Springville, Tennessee; one daughter, Candice Kimbrell of Friendship, Tennessee; one sister, Sharon Ashley (Randy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and he was "Papa Mitch" to his two grandchildren, Chase Allen and Ethan Allen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Kimbrell.
