MONTEZUMA, GA – Mitchell Priehs, age 60, of Montezuma, GA passed away, Friday January 12, 2024 at his residence.
Memorial service celebrating Mitchell's life will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Oglethorpe Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mitchell was born on April 8, 1963 in Montezuma, GA to Calvin W. Priehs and Syble Gordon Priehs. Mitchell was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Priehs. Mitchell was baptized and brought up in the Oglethorpe Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mitchell attended Truett McConnell College in Cleveland, GA and owned and operated a Insurance Claim Adjuster's Business until 2012, when he transitioned into being a Full Time Fitness Coach, Trainer and Nutritionist. Mitchell received many accolades between 2017 and 2022, when he retired. Mitchell was a Master Trainer, Master Nutritionist, with a degree in Kinesology and was named one of America's Top 5 bodybuilding and fitness coaches three different fittness websites and publicationans. Mitchell enjoyed riding motorcycles, mountain climbing and also was a accomplished musician with the guitar.
Mitchell is survived by his loving mother, Sybil Priehs of Montezuma, GA; two daughters, Cali Stone and Casey Mackicard; three grandchildren, Harper McKenzie Stone, Aubrey Bristol Stone and Raelyn Mackicard all of Chattanooga, TN; aunt, Tulie Mae Swilling of Birchwood, TN; niece, Donna Burk; two nephews, Matt Smith, Gary Smith and three cousins also survive.
It was Mitchell's request that flowers be omitted and donations be made to your favorite charity.
