Mitsuko Vann, 83 died November 9, 2025 in Wakefield, KS. She was born on May 27, 1942 in Motobu-Cho, Okinawa, the daughter of Kichizo and Nakato (Kinjo) Kitashiro. Mitsuko married Donald Vann on May 28, 1969. They made their home in Wakefield. Mitsuko worked on sewing projects for the State of Kansas and worked at Wakefield Rehabilitation Center. Later, Don and Mitsuko owned and operated Big D Service Center in Wakefield. Don preceded her in death on September 14, 2000. She was a member of the Jaycees and Life member of the VFW Auxiliary 1786 in Manhattan.
