Mittie Bell White, age 100, of Fayetteville, passed away October 7, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Born in Robeson County, she is the daughter of the late Murray Walters and Cattie Baxley Walters. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow White; sons, Woodrow White, Jr. and Eugene White; and her daughter, Shelby Jean White.
Ms. White is survived by, sons, James Edward “Jimmy” White, Alvin Lee White and wife Carolyn; grandchildren, Rowland Eugene Baker, April Jackson, Tammy Ackerman, Shannon Easingwood, Michael Baker, Dawn MacGregor, Lori Lombombard, Jamie Debary, James White, Jr., Robert White, and Clifton White. She was also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren.
She enjoyed shopping and loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
