My heartfelt condolences to Pauly Shore and the rest of the Shore family and all of the people whose lives where so beautifully impacted by the love and encouragement of Mitzie Shore. She was a strong and beautiful woman with a beautiful heart. May Almighty God, who gives strength and who comforts those who mourn, bless you with His peace.

Mitzi "raised" some of my future friends as well many others I would only know from working in productions, their appearances on TV, stand up, etc. Comedy has and is my salvation for the many health difficulties I've had since childhood. Going to The Comedy Store to see newcomers and veterans work the rooms kept me going all these years. Thank you to Mitzi and your entire family. My wishes are for peace to all of you at this very difficult time.

Pauly, I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and my prayers are with you always.

Take care and God bless. I share your pain for I have lost my Mother also. Sometimes the grief will seem unbearable but know you are not alone. You have friends that you have never met praying for you besides your personal friends and family.

Ms. Shore not only gave birth to and cultivated a long life of laughter, she proudly wore it as a badge of honour. Yet the honour also belongs to all those who benefited from her heartfelt gift of making us smile. She did it many times over in a myriad of ways. Whether it was through the countless seeds of comedic talent that blossomed thanks to her stage or the legacy that lives on through her family, we will forever be blessed.

Thank you Ms. Shore for the joy you shared. Rest in peace and may God bless you.

This all was a special place in time. Something like this might happen again as life and the world changes and moves forward, but if you lived in this special place and time, you know that it will never be the same as it once was. Mitzi was a huge part of this special place in time, when it was very rare for a woman to have her own business and in the business of comedy of all things. Comedy and comedians were around long before Mitzi and "The Comedy Store" came into the Hollywood spotlight. But in this special place and time when Mitzi Shore, comedy, and a woman being one of the first to blow the doors wide open in comedy and the many, many, many huge names that came up to be huge stand up comedians, having there own t.v. talk shows and weekly t.v. shows was unheard of until Mitzi Shore appeared and took the world of comedy, to a brand new level that was not anywhere to be found until this very special place in time and we have to thank Mitzi Shore, who just wanted to take this unknown business and beyond, I am sure, anyone's expectations, took it to another levell, that still holds up extremely well on its own and still is going forward after the mother of the comedy world, Mitzi Shore is remembered.
You have changed the world Mitzi Shore and took it to an unbelievable level . That is why it was a special place in time. Many new things were forming back then, unheard of things. It was like the world was in its infancy and that is why it was a special time and place.......... R.I.P. MITZI SHORE
